Have you ever flown in a plane? What do you remember from it? Do you remember the beautiful birds-eye-view of the mountains and plains? Or the person next to you who snored most of the way?
I know for me it was the time back when I was still young enough to get to go into the pilots cabin and pretend to fly the plane.
Whatever it is, it certainly would not be the in-flight safety information.
If you have flown before, you undoubtedly would have been subject to this unrecognised form of torture, but who would have thought it could turn out to be the most memorable part of the flight?
One man has taken keeping his passengers safe to the next level and found a creative way to not only inform passengers of safety while keeping their full attention, but also to get them smiling.
David Holmes, a flight attendant on a Southwest Flight to Okhlahoma City energised his audience of passengers by rapping the flight information, complete with a beat created by the passengers themselves.
"Some of us tell jokes, some of us sing, some of us just stand there and look beautiful. I unfortunately can do none of those...so here is the one thing that I do know how to do," he announced.
"I've had five flights today, and I just cannot do the regular boring announcement again otherwise I'm going to put myself to sleep."
While many flight attendants are content to use the safety routine as a lullaby, it seems that on South West airlines you receive a little bit more.
"If you have a seat on a row with the exit,
We're gunna talk to you so you might as well expect it,
You gotta help evacuate incase we need you
If you don't wanna then we're gunna re-seat you."
"Thankyou for the fact that i wasn't ignored,
This is south west airlines welcome aboard."
His enthusiastic presentation received an ethusiastic round of applause at the end proving he had managed the impossible and kept his audience entertained.

Augustus Tanton 14/3/12 - Do not let your ego get too close to your role, so that should your position gets shot down, your ego doesn't go with it. Because something doesn't do that which you planned it to accomplish doesn't suggest it's useless.
